Parents of girls in 7th-12th grade are invited to attend an information session about Girls Who Code, a new club starting next week at ASA. Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Students will learn fundamental computer science concepts while designing and constructing an impact project for the community. Senior, Haley Harelson, will lead a brief presentation describing the club and its goals, followed by a question/answer session. The meeting will be held on Thursday evening at 5:00 pm in Ms. Kaufman's classroom, Main 111.
