On Thursday, January 12, ASA will have an Interlochen Summer Camp Information meeting. Janet Morris, Interlochen Senior Admission Counselor, will meet with ASA students that are planning on auditioning for Interlochen or are interested in finding out more about the camp.
At this meeting Ms. Morris will discuss the program, audition process, scholarships, and answer any questions for ASA students. Interlochen Summer Camp offers programs in music, theatre, creative writing, visual arts, film, and dance. The camp is located in northern Michigan and is recognized as one of the premier summer training programs in the world. ASA hosts one of the Southwestern US audition sites.
The student information session will be held during Period 8. Students planning on attending should sign up on the link below and will be excused from their Period 8 arts classes. At 3 PM, there will be a parent open Q& A session. Any parent can attend, no appointment or reservation needed. Students can attend this session that do not have a 9th hour class. All sessions will be held in Ms. Kuhl’s room, Main 129.
Auditions for the upcoming summer program will be held on the ASA Campus on January 12, 2017 in the evening. Only students that have applied online through the Interlochen website will audition during these sessions. Students that apply in the coming weeks can also submit a video audition for admission consideration.
