ASA/ASU Music Prep Program

Arizona State University School of Music and Arizona School for the Arts are pleased to announce a new partnership beginning in August 2017. This partnership will allow for graduate students in the ASU School of Music to teach private lessons in all instruments and group lessons in composition, theory, and piano to students at ASA, as well as interested members of the Phoenix community.

“We are very excited about this new partnership and the chance to enhance the already superb curriculum being offered by Arizona School for the Arts, as well as give our graduate students an opportunity to apply all that they have learned in a real teaching situation,” said Hannah Creviston, director of the ASU Music Prep Program.

Leah Fregulia, Head of School and CEO of Arizona School for the Arts, said, “"Arizona School for the Arts is thrilled to participate with ASU in this endeavor to bring graduate students to the downtown and to increase access to high-quality music instruction for more children in our community!"

Tuition: $60/hr. for private lessons; $20/hr. for group lessons

Schedule: Lessons begin the week of August 28th and run through May 20, 2018.
