Faith Hester  ~  10th Grade Chemistry

After growing up on the east coast, Ms. Faith Hester attended Tufts University near Boston, MA. Ms. Hester rowed for the women's varsity crew team and worked in several research labs while earning her B.S. in biology. When Ms. Hester graduated in 2007, she moved to Phoenix to teach high school biology through Teach for America. While teaching, Ms. Hester also attended classes to earn a master's degree in secondary education from Arizona State University. With four years of experience teaching high school science, Ms. Hester was extremely excited to join the ASA faculty in August of 2011 as the 10th grade chemistry instructor.
