Nadia Guttell ~ 6th Grade ScienceMrs. Guttell is a French-Canadian, who moved to Phoenix in 2005. Before coming to the United States, Mrs. Guttell lived in Montréal, Québec, where she studied Educational Psychology at Université de Montréal. She pursued her college education at Arizona State University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2008, with a Bachelor of Arts in Education - Elementary Education (K-8). Mrs. Guttell has her Arizona certification in elementary education and is highly qualified to teach middle school science. Recipient of the highly competitive Rodel Promising Student Teacher Scholarship, Mrs. Guttell started her career as an elementary teacher in high-poverty schools. She joined the ASA faculty in 2009, where her creativity and inherent passion for science come alive in her classroom. Mrs. Guttell intends on continuing her graduate studies in science education.
